ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Kelly Scirpo, a Bay Area native who grew up in Los Altos and now calls Menlo Park home. As my 16-year-old almost 17-year-old son, Dylan, and 14-year-old daughter, MacKenzie, navigate the high school landscape, I've come to a realization.—our kids are stepping into the world, yet many are unprepared for life's practical challenges.
In countless conversations with fellow parents, a common thread emerged—our kids may not be tuned in to the basics of adulthood, from handling laundry and budgeting to mastering essential interviewing skills. This shared concern inspired me to take action, leading to the creation of Ready to Launch.
Ready to Launch is more than just a platform; it's a community-driven initiative aimed at empowering parents and their teens. Through an interactive blog and courses, I'm on a mission to equip our youth with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive NOW as-well as when they embark on the next chapter of their lives, whether it's college or another exciting adventure.
